How do I quit in a way that doesn't make things awkward or without feeling guilty for being irresponsible (and I'll admit that I am at least somewhat irresponsible in this circumstance)? Should I just not show up? Should I call in and tell them? Should I text my manager? Should I show up at the store and tell them? Etc, etc. Keep in mind you work for a sales organization. and it feels irresponsible of me to quit after I just got the job, and I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety about it, but I know that I need to leave for my own sake. While it’s normal to have challenges at work, feeling a deep and lasting dissatisfaction with your job is worth exploring. Ive lost all the time I had to focus on my own life, instead its all for the sake of my. I still only work 40 hours at most a week, some days more like 6 or 7, but Im done with it. (I understand why I owed them money, its just the principle of "You worked your ass off all day and made one mistake, so you owe us money now.")
